We offer several pathways to access psychological support at the kind space:

1. Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP)
You can be referred by your GP or psychiatrist under a Mental Health Care Plan. This allows eligible clients to claim a rebates under the Better Access Initiative for up to 10 sessions per year. Your referring practitioner will provide the necessary documentation, which must be received before your first appointment. A valid MHCP is required to ensure the rebate can be processed.

2. Self-Referral
You are welcome to self-refer without a Mental Health Care Plan. Please note that Medicare rebates are not available for self-referred clients, and sessions will be charged at the full private fee.

3. Private Health Insurance
If you have private health insurance with extras cover, you may be able to claim a rebate for psychological services. Accredited Mental Health Social Workers are recognised with select health funds*. Please contact your health fund directly to confirm your eligibility and rebate amounts, as this can vary depending on your provider and level of cover.
